Interpretation Resources Consulting Inc.(IR) is an Atlantic Canadian company that specializes in innovative geomatics solutions. We offer a wide range of mapping and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services to clients in all levels of government, emergency response, private industry, law firms, and First Nations. GIS can be used in almost every industry. In addition to producing maps, it can help us to visualize, analyze, and interpret data. GIS services are provided using ESRI® software products. IR also provides air photo interpretation, report & technical writing, and IT off-site data storage services.
Our team represents some of the most experienced geomatics specialists in Atlantic Canada. In addition to our in-house expertise, we also have access to a range of consultants, such as Software Developers and Graphic Designers.

IR was incorporated in 1999 as a result of the ever-increasing need for geomatics expertise in Atlantic Canada. The company became operational in 2002 with one of its first projects being the Ambulance Dispatch Roads Database. Since the beginning, IR's project base has expanded greatly to include projects in all areas of GIS and beyond.
